Exam Success
Some of our students want to obtain a recognised qualification in English language. We have a great deal of experience and expertise in preparing students for the following English examinations:
- IELTS – The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work where English is used as a language of communication. It uses a nine-band scale to clearly identify levels of proficiency, from non-user (band score 1) through to expert (band score 9).
- Cambridge ‘B2 First’ – formerly know as Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) – a popular exam, accepted by thousands of businesses and educational institutions worldwide. This qualification proves you have the language skills to live and work independently in an English-speaking country or study on courses taught in English.
- Cambridge ‘C1 Advanced’ – formerly know as Cambridge Advanced (CAE) – an in-depth, high-level qualification that shows you have the language skills that employers and universities are looking for. More than 9,000 educational institutions, businesses and government departments around the world accept C1 Advanced as proof of high-level achievement in learning English. Preparing for C1 Advanced helps learners develop the skills to make the most of studying, working and living in English-speaking countries.
We can prepare you to do well in other internationally recognised English language examinations – such as BEC, ICAO and others – just ask and we will arrange a course for you.
We will provide a full outline of the exam structure and necessary skills, strategies and techniques needed to do well. We will aim to develop your confidence, and help you identify areas where you can improve. We have helped many of our students get the results they needed and often exceeded their expectations.
